When India’s Communication behemoth Bharti Airtel decided to get into zoning, leasing and Brand acquisition for their premier World Mark at Aero City, they reached out to Luxury Connect to become their strategic advisors. Initiated at the conceptualizing stage –the assignment was to create the entire architecture of creating a mix and segregated brands from luxury to quasi-luxury to masstige brands spread across the three malls. The prime thought process was to make the WM1 into a luxury hub with a plethora of brands that were not yet present at Emporio. LC team worked at a lightning pace and acquired and created the best cross-section of such brands and took the leasing team to finalize meetings with the European counterparts. Almost 50 brands were shortlisted from about 200 identified to fit the bill and these were across luxury fashion, accessories, lifestyle brands and even gourmet.

When the conglomerate Eicher Group’s star in the sky company – GOOD EARTH – needed to start the process of upskilling their teams, in order to allow the brand to climb the ladder of the luxury triangle – it was Luxury Connect that the brand contacted. A highly trained LC Team first initiated a Mystery Shopping exercise across their outlets to derive a SWOT Analysis of what needed to be done. A customized Training program was then created to upskill and retrain the teams at various levels of competency. Over 100 plus employees across their outlets spanning Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore underwent program.

Lodha Group is India’s premier Real Estate Developer with a wide range of commercial and residential properties in London, Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Hyderabad and Lonavala. Lodha Real Estate chose Luxury Connect to help design, train and deliver a service module suited for its staff to execute at the Armani Residences. This was one of the best projects so far in which Luxury Connect helped the company to provide training to the Lodha employees.

Delhi Duty Free Services

The GMR at Terminal 3 has a large force manning the Duty-Free retail at the IGI Airport Delhi. Luxury Connect was contacted by GMR to share their two definitive problems. One was with respect to the low per square foot sales in their departure lounge shops and the second was how to tap and create customized services for the elite – luxury travellers. Research and analysis conducted by Luxury Connect identified the need to add premium merchandise on the shelves and create a specialized service for the first class – club class passengers. The customized solution resulted in considerable sales of the high-value merchandise. Besides general upskilling for the team, a few team members were handpicked to be critically trained in the art of luxury customer service and these were allocated to handle the elite travellers who became patrons of “The Purple Club”.

Snapdeal

Snapdeal, at that time India’s leading e-commerce player, sought Luxury Connect, to help them offer Luxury brands on their portal. Luxury Connect as a strategic partner helped conceptualise and design this vertical for them, leading them to subsequently acquire EXCLUSIVELY.in, as a premium designer wear portal. Several international brands were contracted by Luxury Connect’s sourcing wing and offered for this platform.

When a leading German, Bavarian luxury automobile player in India was keen on differentiating service teams across dealers who could upgrade to the next higher variant on offer, they chose Luxury Connect to identify, design and deliver a unique training & upskilling program for the entire dealer staff across India.
